Did you know that content is what drives the internet? Having a website is great for business, but if you don't have content on the Internet, you are wasting your time. More content will help you or your site to be seen as an authority on the subject of topic.
Ok, so you know you need content. But are you nervous or unsure about how to create and distribute this content? Never fear. Below are some easy to follow steps to creating distributing online content to help market your website.

1) Write articles.
The articles don't have to be long. In fact, it's better that the article is between 400-700 words in length. In the body of the article, talk about information that's beneficial to your customers. Use good information about your subject. Always include a call to action in your articles. Give the reader an idea to try or a task to complete so they know what to do with the wealth of information you're giving them in the article.

2) Write press releases.
Do you have articles, speeches, ebooks, videos, brochures, any type of product that you have already created that you can chop up into pieces and give to your customers. Tell the world what's going on with your company. Make it sound interesting and even entertaining, but be honest! You may be surprised how many people, including members of the media and prospective customers start contacting you from the information you write in your press releases.

3) Get your content online.
You can get multiple articles and press releases on the web very easily by submitting them to different article and press release submission sites. One of the best things about these submission sites is that they are free and generally pretty easy to use.
Make sure that your content contains links back to your website so the people who read these articles will be hungry for more information from you.
As these article and press release sites are indexed by the search engines, you'll notice an increase in traffic as the readers of these sites come to your website and refer others they know to visit your site as well.

Articles and content are the best way to consistently drive traffic to your website.
Whenever you want to increase your subscribers and traffic, and gain more prospects and customers, all you have to do is write more articles and watch your traffic and business grow.
